"An Inspector Calls," written by J.B. Priestley
June 6-8
Arthur and Sybil Birling are in their well-appointed dining room celebrating the engagement of their daughter Sheila to a nice young man, Gerald Croft, who is the son of Birling’s business rival. A police inspector arrives at the conclusion of dinner to inquire about the family’s connections to a young woman who has recently died. As the Inspector probes their familiarity with the deceased, greater and darker family secrets come to light.
"An Inspector Calls" written by J.B. Priestley, and directed by Bob Amsden, was performed June 6-8 in the Ripon High School auditorium with evening performances staged in ¾ round with riser seating on the auditorium stage for an intimate theatre experience.
The Ripon Area Community Theatre is a sponsored program of the Ripon Noon Kiwanis Club.
